The "Overcomers" Exploring the Human Spirit, is a multimedia art exhibit by photographer, Kirk Kennedy ("Faces Collection" Exhibit 2022 creator). The new exhibit features large-format monochromatic images on canvas and integrated video content exploring the power and resiliency of the human spirit.

About the event
The "Overcomers" Exploring the Human Spirit Exhibit, is a multimedia visual experience by the "Faces Collection" creator Kirk Kennedy. The new exhibit features large-format monochromatic images on canvas and integrated video content exploring the power and resiliency of the human spirit. The exhibit is available for viewing during normal library hours of operation from September 1, 2024, through October 31, 2024. This event is free and open to the public. The proceeds from the sale of the artwork and movie tickets will support public literacy and defray art production costs.

"Overcomers" Exhibit
This ticket allows you reserved seating to attend the exhibition opening (September 1st) with Kirk Kennedy and view the "Overcomers" Film Series in its entirety. Proceeds will both support the literacy and defray the cost of public art events. The event may be seen for free and doesn't require a ticket to view the still art. We will feature the film in it's entirety at the Library and at Optique Gallery with a post viewing discussion period with Kirk on the creative process.
