About the event

This exciting and informative master class is designed to help photographers take more captivating images.  The course will include the basic science of visual perception and the reason why some images possess an enduring timelessness. The class instructors are Bert Corbin and Dr. Ken Brantley.

Our first speaker, Bert Corbin is a nationally recognized muralist and multidisciplinary artist.  His most recent public work was completed earlier this year and adorns the Huntsville Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.  Bert has also garnered wide acclaim for his colorful abstract-painted pieces.   He will be discussing color theory and artistic composition. Bert Corbin has been involved in making art for over four decades. He has been featured in art

shows all over the Southeast. He partnered with several school systems in bringing presentations to students describing the effects of art on our lives. Bert has also completed several murals in both public and private settings.  Bert Continues to make art, instruct art students, and stress the value of art in our lives.

“I feel that everyone has the talent to share with the world”. - Bert Corbin

Our second speaker is Dr. Brantley.  Dr. Brantley's work has been featured by brands like ChicNYC and in advertising campaigns for eyewear companies.
